About the People and Culture directorate
The teams in this directorate ensure our people have the skills, opportunities and resources to succeed. They ensure Macmillan is set up in the best way to deliver our strategy.
The directorate is made up of the following teams and divisions.
The Talent Team
The Talent Team handles the learning and development offer for our colleagues, volunteers and partners. They work closely with other teams across the directorate to understand the learning needs across Macmillan.
Internal Communications and Engagement
The Internal Communications and Engagement team keeps colleagues informed, connected and supported. They manage our internal newsletter and intranet, and collaborate with colleagues to share key messages across the organisation.
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team
The EDI team are responsible for driving culture change internally. They aim to build an inclusive, equitable and diverse workplace. All colleagues should be enabled to do their best work and feel that they belong here. Externally, the team works with professionals and community organisations to reduce inequities in cancer care.
Human Resources (HR)
The HR division is part of this directorate and is made of many functions to provide support for all our colleagues. It includes:

- Talent Acquisition
- Health and Safety
- Reward and Wellbeing
- Safeguarding and Facilities Management.
