We provide physical, financial and emotional support to people living with cancer. And we couldn't do it without you. Every donation counts, whether it's a personal donation, or money from a fundraising event. Whatever way you choose to donate, thank you.

Donate to Macmillan online. You can make a one-off donation or become a regular donor. You can pay in money from a collection or a fundraising event online. You can also make a donation in memory of someone or in celebration of a special occasion.

You can text us to make a donation. Text donations will be taken out of your phone bill.

Text MOBILE to 70550 to make a £5 single donation

Text REGULAR to 70550 to donate £5 a month.

Make sure you have the bill payer's permission. You must be aged 16+. We can currently only accept donations from UK mobiles. One-off donations are charged at £5 + standard rate. Monthly donations are charged at £5 + standard rate each month. We receive 100% of all donations.

We can take credit, debit and charity card payments over the phone. Just call our Supporter Care team on 0300 1000 200. Our phones are open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Post your donation

To send us a cheque or credit card donation, or set up a direct debit by post, download one of our donation forms and post it to the address provided on the form:

If you haven't signed a Gift Aid declaration, you can use our online form. Or, you can download a declaration, sign it and and post it with your donation. If you are eligible, Macmillan can claim an extra 25p back from the government for every £1 you donate, at no extra charge to you.

Please note that our post is taking longer to reach us than usual. There may be a delay between when you send your donation and when you get your thank you letter. Thank you for your patience.

Donate into our bank

You can make a direct payment from your bank account to ours. You can go to the bank in person to donate or you can set up on online transfer. Please call our Supporter Care team on 0300 1000 200 or email us at fundraising@macmillan.org.uk. We can then send you a paying in slip to use at any branch of NatWest, RBS or Ulster Bank.

Or we can provide you with a reference number and details to use for a bank transfer or BACS payment. We can also take your details so that we can send you an acknowledgement letter.

Donate from outside the UK

Donate from outside the UK

If you would like to donate from outside of the UK, you can:

  • Make a donation through the JustGiving website. They accept a range of currencies, and money reaches us securely.
  • Call us on +44 207 191 2172 or email us at fundraising@macmillan.org.uk. We can provide you with our bank details so you can make a direct transfer from your bank to ours. Our telephone lines are open 9am-5pm GMT Monday to Friday.
  • Post a cheque in pounds sterling or your local currency to:

    London, SE1 7UQ.

Please note, bank charges may be deducted from your donation if you send us a cheque. The first two options are the most cost-effective.

Unfortunately we cannot currently accept online donations on our website from cards issued outside the UK. This is due to security on our website. We are also currently unable to take overseas donations by card over the phone whilst our teams are working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

AmazonSmile is an online shopping website just like Amazon.co.uk. The only difference is that you can choose a charity to support on AmazonSmile.

If you choose Macmillan Cancer Support as your charity, we get a donation from Amazon every time you shop. It's an easy way to make a difference to people living with cancer at no extra cost to you. You can use your existing Amazon account or make a new account at smile.amazon.co.uk.

Donate loyalty and reward points

Donate loyalty and reward points

You can donate loyalty and reward points to Macmillan thanks to a company called For Good Causes. They aim to convert the roughly £7 billion unused loyalty points in the UK into money for charities. You can donate points from brands including BP, Quidco and Vodaphone. Log in to participating brands' websites to redeem and donate your points. Find out more on the For Good Causes website.
