Backing breakthroughs: what is Macmillan Ventures?
The goal of Macmillan Ventures is simple: to uncover the most promising innovations in cancer care and ensure they deliver life-changing impact for as many people affected by cancer as possible. And today the opportunity has never been greater.
In 2023, Macmillan launched its £3.5 million pilot Impact Investment Fund to invest in start-ups developing technology and products that could radically improve cancer diagnosis. Following its successful completion, our ambition is to scale this to £30 million, working hand-in-hand with philanthropists and partners to make this a reality.
