Since 1990, Coffee Morning has brought together millions of people from across the UK to have fun and raise money for a good cause.
What is Macmillan Coffee Morning?
The first Coffee Morning happened in 1990. It was a small affair with a simple idea: guests would get together for coffee and donate the cost of their drink to Macmillan. It was so effective, we did it again the next year - only this time nationally.
Now Coffee Mornings come in all shapes and sizes. From small home gatherings to large corporate events; school fundraisers to a gathering with a local community group. They all have one thing in common - they raise vital funds to support the almost 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer.

This year's Coffee Morning day is Friday 25 September 2026.

Simply fill in our registration form and we'll send you a free fundraising kit in the post with everything you need.

Attend a Coffee Morning
You don't have to host a Coffee Morning to take part, you can also attend one!
Search for Coffee Morning events near you. Or look out for posters and social media posts advertising an event in your local area.
They may be taking place in community centres, cafes, pubs, schools, hospitals and sports clubs.
