Are you ready to take to the streets of the steel city and the infamous hill? Join us for the 2021 Sheffield Half Marathon.
With Sheffield being built on seven hills, you’ll enjoy a city centre atmosphere for the start and finish, and be rewarded with views of the Peak District as you conquer the climb to Ringinglow.
By 2030, the number of people living with and beyond cancer in South Yorkshire will be 71,000, enough to fill Sheffield Wednesday's stadium nearly twice. Macmillan offers support with over 150 professionals working in the area. However, we couldn’t do that without the support of amazing people like you.
There are two ways to get yourself signed up for the Sheffield Half Marathon.
Macmillan Charity Place: We would love to have you on the team for the Sheffield Half Marathon. To secure your place, click on the 'Get a place' button. There is no registration fee and we ask for a minimum fundraising pledge of £250.
Get your Own Place: Public entry for the 2021 Sheffield Half Marathon is now open at the official race website. If you secure your own place, there is no minimum fundraising target, we just ask you to raise as much as you can for Macmillan.
Whether you have one of our charity places or are using your own place to fundraise for us, you'll be part of Team Macmillan. As part of our team, we'll make sure you have:
And of course... the loudest and most supportive cheerers on the course!
Most importantly, we will provide you with a reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you know that your efforts are going towards improving the lives of people living with cancer.
We want to use this amazing event to make a difference. We know cancer can affect everything; your body, your relationships, your money, everything. But we are here to help people live life, no matter what. We give them the support they need to hold on to who they are and what’s important.
But we can’t do it without you. Join Team Macmillan for the Sheffield Half Marathon and we will treat you like the superhero you are from the moment you sign up through to when you cross the finish line. Life with cancer is still a life. Join Team Macmillan and help people live it.
The minimum age for this event is 17 years old.
