Event Accessibility
The event does allow hand-propelled wheelchair competitors. Please be aware there is a long incline early on at 3 miles and a significant climb at 12 miles for about 300 metres that previous wheelchair participants have found difficult and have had to go up backwards.
You should also be aware that there are a number of speed bumps around the course, including along Penarth Portway in Penarth Marina at the 4 mile point and around Roath Park Lake between the 10-12 mile point.
Participants taking part in a wheelchair are able to have a complimentary support runner. Please email us at running@macmillan.org.uk if you wish to have a support runner with you.
