Wishing His Majesty The King well
Experiencing changes during cancer treatment
Like His Majesty the King, many people living with cancer will be familiar with having to go to hospital and coping with the side effects of treatment.
Experiencing a change in how you are feeling while you are in cancer treatment can be difficult. You might worry about dealing with side effects of treatment, and what this might mean for your overall health.
If you notice a change in your health while you are in cancer treatment, it’s important to seek advice from your healthcare team. If you believe the situation is urgent then you must ring 999. If your symptoms are not urgent, contact your treatment team as soon as possible to discuss how you are feeling. They can talk to you about what the next steps might be.
