Episode 1: Anna's story

In our first episode we listen to Anna speaking candidly about her experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer some ten years ago.

Having a cancer diagnosis is a very personal thing and we can all react quite differently. In this podcast, Anna, who works for Macmillan, chats with some of her colleagues about her feelings, the challenges the came about, and she shares some of the ups and downs of those early weeks after diagnosis.

Episode 2: Wayne's story

In our second episode we listen to Wayne talking about raising an incredible £200,000 for Macmillan after sadly losing his daughter Rhian to cervical cancer seven years ago when she was just 25.

Wayne, who is a volunteer for Macmillan as well as a supporter, chats about Rhian’s story and how he has given back so much to Macmillan as well as Velindre Cancer Centre in her memory.

Matt shares his story of being diagnosed with testicular cancer and how Macmillan support helped him when his diagnosis affected his mental health.
