Our partnership with Lloyds Bank

Macmillan and Lloyds Bank are working together to make money one less worry for people living with cancer. We’ve developed a service for Lloyds Bank customers, providing bespoke support to help them manage their money.

At Macmillan, we know that money worries can be confusing and overwhelming. That's why we're working with Lloyds Bank to help their customers receive support and make informed financial decisions following a cancer diagnosis.

Macmillan has trained a dedicated Lloyds Bank team so they understand the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. The Cancer Support Team are here to help their customers manage their money through specialist support tailored to their individual needs. This includes help to manage changes to their finances, as well as practical guidance on personal banking, savings, loans, mortgages and credit cards.

Tracy's story

After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Tracy contacted Macmillan for help with her money worries. We provided vital financial support and guidance and carried out a benefit check. We also secured a Macmillan grant to pay for clothing and heating. And because Tracy is also a Lloyds Bank customer, we referred her to the Cancer Support Team at Lloyds Bank for support with her bank account and mortgage.

Tracy says, ‘Macmillan and Lloyds are helping me live my life to the full. And that’s amazing.’

The joint support we provided worked really well for Tracy. So well, in fact, that she was delighted to become the face of the latest Lloyds Bank TV ad.

Together, Macmillan and Lloyds Bank want to make money one less worry so that Lloyds customers living with cancer can get back to the things that matter most in their life.

Because life with cancer is still life and we will help people live it.
