The Cancer Professionals Podcast
Our new podcast series launched in January 2024.
We are interviewing a range of expert guests to lift the lid on current issues faced by the cancer workforce.
Expect to hear discussions of clinical practice, personal experiences and practical advice to help improve your knowledge and skills in supporting people affected by cancer.
ACCEND: The Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development Programme
The Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development (ACCEND) programme provides guidance and direction on the knowledge, skills and capabilities required by healthcare professionals who care for people affected by cancer. Macmillan's education and training is mapped against the ACCEND framework and you can find more details on the Macmillan Learning Hub ACCEND page.
You can explore the capabilities in practice and other helpful resources on the ACCEND Course Explorer, or visit the NHS England ACCEND website to view the full framework and implementation guides to support practitioners, employers and educators.
Prehabilitation and rehabilitation webinars

The aim of these events is to bring people together with a special interest in prehabilitation and rehabilitation to share best practice and encourage discussion and debate.
The webinars will be hosted on the last Tuesday of every month at 13:00 to 14:00. To join future sessions please email CancerPrehabilitation@macmillan.org.uk and we will add you to the mailing list.
