Thank you for helping us do whatever it takes to help everyone with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are.


In 2024, our total income was £245.5 million. 98% of this was raised by you - our amazing supporters.

Thanks to your generosity, we can operate the Macmillan Support Line 7 days a week, fund and train Macmillan professionals, campaign for change, and help people living with cancer get the right support for their needs.

You helped us to reach an estimated 2.4 million people affected by cancer across the UK in 2024:

  • 484,000 people living with cancer were supported through diagnosis, treatment and care over the phone, in person and online.
  • Our Macmillan nurses, support workers and palliative care nurses reached approximately 700,000 people living with cancer as they went through diagnosis, treatment, follow-up or end-of-life care.
  • Our experts on the Macmillan Support Line supported on average more than 260 people affected by cancer every day.
  • Over 3,600 people living with cancer were supported by Macmillan Buddies.
