Join Team Macmillan for the Asda Foundation York 10K and we will treat you like the superhero you are from the moment you sign up through to when you cross the finish line.

The York 10K offers a rare chance to run through the heart of this wonderful city. The route starts and finishes in Knavesmire Road close to York Racecourse and takes in some of the city’s historic gems including the ancient city walls, Clifford’s Tower and the minster.

How to enter

There are two ways to get yourself signed up for the 2021 Asda Foundation York 10K.

Macmillan Charity Place:

To secure your charity place, click on the 'Get a place' button. All we ask is for a minimum fundraising pledge of £150.

Your Own Place:

Public entry for the 2021 Asda Foundation York 10K is now open at the official race website.

What do I get as part of #TeamMacmillan?

Whichever way you choose to join, as part of Team Macmillan, we'll make sure you have:

  • Our bumper fundraising pack, access to our online training zone and loads of fundraising tips and tricks.
  • Your free Team Macmillan technical running vest or t-shirt, plus iron on letters to customise your kit.
  • Regular e-newsletters keeping you in the loop in the lead up to race day.
  • And of course... the loudest and most supportive cheerers on the course!

    Most importantly we will provide you with a reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you know that your efforts will help ensure that no one faces cancer alone.

    The minimum age for this event is 15 years old.
