Macmillan Membership Grants and Funding
Macmillan recognises the importance of supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of our Macmillan Professionals and the wider workforce. To support this we offer grant funding to support with individual or team learning, development and wellbeing activities.
Grants can be used for courses and conferences not already provided by Macmillan and bespoke learning of facilitation for groups or teams of cancer care professionals. Our place-based Macmillan Relationship Leads and Macmillan Professional Engagement and Improvement Leads can offer support and guidance on grant applications.
What is Macmillan Membership?
Macmillan is committed to ensuring everyone with cancer gets the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. But we can’t do it alone. Macmillan Membership brings together medical and non-medical professionals, whether Macmillan-funded or not, empowering them to deliver compassionate, high-quality, and equitable care with confidence.
As part of one community, members have access to flexible expert-led learning, trusted support resources, and the opportunity to share best practice with like-minded professionals. All in one place. Together, we can ensure every person with cancer gets the best support today and spark a revolution in cancer care for the future.
Who can join
Our new, free membership offer is available to health and social care professionals working as part of the cancer workforce to join us as a Macmillan Professional Member.
We also have a free Macmillan Affiliate Membership offer which is open to all healthcare professionals who interact with or support people living with cancer as part of their role. From community nurses and physiotherapists to dietitians and speech therapists, everyone is welcome.
By expanding our Membership community, we can support Macmillan Affiliate Members to develop their skills and expertise while giving our existing Macmillan Professional Members, the opportunity to connect with a wider community of healthcare professionals. Because by sharing knowledge and experience, we can all help deliver the very best support to people living with cancer.
