It’s time to nominate the exceptional people who have made a difference to people living with and affected by cancer
Macmillan is delighted to announce that our Thanks To You Awards are back for 2024. We’re looking for the exceptional people who have made a difference to people living with and affected by cancer.
These awards provide the opportunity to say a huge and well-deserved thank you, and to celebrate the outstanding contributions of those who give their time, energy and experience to Macmillan and to people living with and affected by cancer.
The nomination period for the Thanks to You Awards 2024 is now open until 30 November. We are inviting our volunteers, supporters and people who give their time to Macmillan, to make a nomination for someone they think has gone above and beyond, and who has made a difference.
We invite you all to tell us more of these inspiring stories so we can continue to recognise as many people as possible through this awards process.
Like last year, we have 6 special recognition awards:
- The With Heart award
- The With Strength award
- The With Ambition award
- The Lived Experience award
- The Outstanding Supporter award
- The Young Macmillan award
We also have the Douglas Macmillan Volunteer of the Year Award, which is selected by our panel of judges from the pool of all shortlisted nominees.
Some truly remarkable stories were told through the nominations we received last year. They demonstrated how the nominees are living the Macmillan values and brought to life the impact they make on the lives of people affected by cancer.
How to nominate someone
The nomination period is now open until 30 November. Submitting a nomination couldn’t be easier. Follow the link below where you’ll be asked to register and then to fill in responses to three questions that make up the nomination form. For inspiration for each of the awards categories, and guidance on how to make a nomination, take a look at our Awards booklet.
Thank you for making a nomination, and for your continued support for Macmillan and people living with cancer.
