Practical help and support groups

We are Macmillan Personalised Care team. This new service aims to meet your health and wellbeing needs following your cancer diagnosis, supporting you to live well with and beyond cancer. The service will aim to provide you with tools & strategies to help you self manage your cancer diagnosis. We work closely with a range of allied healthcare professionals in order to deliver care tailored to your individual needs. Health & wellbeing services we offer: ‘Take control’ workshops; Face to Face site specific workshops; Library of workshop videos; ‘Cancer Buddy’s’; Cancer prehab & rehab; 1:1 Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy clinics for patients with complex needs - Referrals to CANbe, 6 free gym sessions following personal trainer assessment of patient for group exercise, Carers ‘Time & Space’ Workshops and Cancer Carers Cafés.
