The Cove is now open for booked appointments only. Face to face appointments are available on request. We are still offering telephone and video appointments also. If you need to speak to any of the team or wish to book an appointment, please phone 01872 256363 or email One of the team will be available from 09:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday. For citizens advice Welfare Benefits phone 01872 256373. This is an answer phone, please leave a message and someone will return your call. The macmillan cancer support line is also available please phone 0808 8080000. We regularly hold information sessions for newly diagnosed patients under the care of Royal Cornwall Hospital, currently these are run by video link. Please get in touch if you would like to join. The café is open daily for a take away service 10.00hrs until 14.00hrs We know that a cancer diagnosis affects all areas of your life, so we’re here to help you find information and support when you need it. From information about specific types of cancer, treatments and how best to live with it, to support with finances and benefits, diet, exercise, the way you look and even if you just need someone to talk things through with. We can help give you back some feeling of control and help you feel more confident about the future. With restrictions lifting we hope to soon be able to offer; comfy spaces where you can take time out, a friendly cafe, and private rooms for if you prefer somewhere quiet. We also host regular support groups and events throughout the year. There’s a warm welcome & support waiting for you including: Information leaflets; Advice & support; Café with indoor & outdoor seating; Relaxed lounge area; Specific room & facilities for teenagers and young adults (16-24 yrs); Benefits advice; Dietetic advice (Fri am drop in); Information about support groups. The following services require a professional referral, pre-booked appointment or are ad-hoc: Health & well Being Events (ad-hoc); Look Good feel Better (pre book); Wig service (pre book); Hats & Scarves (pre book); Patient self-management courses (professional referral); Counselling service (professional referral); Psychological service (professional referral).
