Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service at Hammersmith Hospital

Information and support centres

Our physical centres at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals are temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however we continue to offer a wide range of support both virtually and via telephone. The Macmillan Information and Support service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust offers free, confidential support and information to those affected by cancer. Whether you are living with or beyond cancer, or you are a family member, friend or carer, we are here to support you. Our service offers the opportunity to talk to one of our team one-on-one, about whatever matters the most to you. We also offer a range of weekly groups for those affected by cancer. The groups offer a space to connect with others, share experiences, and benefit from peer-to-peer support. Our Macmillan Benefits adviser can also offer tailored advice on any questions or concerns you may have in regard to your finances. We can help you to understand what financial support is available to you, as well as supporting you in completing applications for further grants and support. We provide a wide range of literature, available in different formats and languages.

We offer:

  • Cancer information materials
  • Benefits Advice
  • Self Help & Support Groups
  • Signposting to other services
  • Volunteering activities
  • Opening times:

Mon to Wed 8am - 6pm; Thursday 8am - 5.30pm. Closed Fri, Sat and Sun
