Macmillan Oxford Citizens Advice Benefits Service

Benefit advice services

* We are currently all working from home for the forseeable future (during the covid lockdown and beyond) and so have temporarily suspended our drop in service. All contact should now be by email or by leaving an answerphone message on our phone - these messages are picked up several times daily Mon to Fri. Or ask your nurse specialist to refer you to us.* The service provides comprehensive, independent, confidential and impartial welfare benefits advice and support to people affected by cancer. The key aim is to maximise the income of people with cancer, their carers and families. In addition, the service provides information and advice to health and social care professionals about the financial help available to people with cancer. The service provides support over the phone and by email, as well as face-to-face support through drop-in sessions and appointments. The service is largely based at the Radiotherapy outpatients where benefits advice is provided in the context of wider support.
