How to enter the IronBourne Triathlon 

We are delighted to be the official charity partner for this fantastic event, so join Team Macmillan and we’ll support you every step of the way. With multiple triathlon, relay, aquabike, run and swim only events to choose from, there truly something for everyone. There are two ways to get yourself signed up:

Get a Macmillan charity place

Macmillan are offering you a discount of 50% on your registration fee at IronBourne Triathlon in their range of disciplines, with the below fundraising pledges:

• All swims - £200 fundraising pledge
• Marathon - £350 fundraising pledge
• All other events - £750 fundraising pledge

To apply, visit the Ironbourne website, select your race, and choose ‘Macmillan entry’ to get your reduced registration fee entry.

Use your own place

Public entry for the IronBourne Triathlon 2024 is now open at the official race website. If you want to support Macmillan without committing to a minimum fundraising amount, just tick the Macmillan Cancer Support box to let us know you are interested in raising funds. If you already have a place with the event organisers, fill in our Team Macmillan form.

There’s no minimum sponsorship, just raise as much as you can!

What distances are there?

Triathlon:

• Long distance triathlon - Swim 2.4 miles, Bike 112 miles, Run 26.2 miles
• Middle distance triathlon - Swim 1.2 miles, Bike 56 miles, Run 13.1 miles
• Full distance triathlon relay - Swim 2.4 miles, Bike 112 miles, Run 26.2 miles
• Middle distance triathlon relay - Swim 1.2 miles, Bike 56 miles, Run 13.1 miles
  
   

Aquabike:

• Full distance – Swim 2.4 miles, Bike 112 miles
• Middle distance - Swim 1.2 miles, Bike 56 miles

Swim:

• 3.8km swim

As part of Team Macmillan, we’ll make sure you have:

• Free Macmillan vest or t-shirt to wear
• Dedicated digital training and fundraising guides
• Access to our online training zone
• Access to our Macmillan Triathlon Facebook group

Most importantly, we will provide you with a reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you know that your efforts are going towards improving the lives of people living with cancer in the UK today.
