There are two ways you can join Team Macmillan in this event.
Secure a charity place
Our charity places are a great way to make a difference to people affected by cancer with every step. We ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £400 in sponsorship and pay a £35 registration fee.
To get a charity place please visit the race organisers website and sign up for a Macmillan charity place. The registration fee is made payable to the race organisers.
Use your own place
If you have bought a place in the race already and would like to run for us, sign up here and we'll get a free Macmillan running top sent to you. There's no minimum sponsorship, just raise as much as you can.

Our main priority is the health and wellbeing of our participants, volunteers and colleagues. We're committed to keeping you up to date with information regarding your event as we receive it.
If your event is cancelled or postponed, we will be in touch to let you know what options are available to you. If you have any questions, you can email the team at email@example.com and we'll be happy to help.
The Loch Ness Marathon are not able to facilitate wheelchair users for the marathon due to safety and logistical reasons. Please email the Loch Ness Team for more information.
