Choose how to write your will

In England and Wales you can write your will in one of five ways: at home, by video, online, by phone and by post.

Other ways to register

  • Register for an urgent will
If you require a will urgently for health reasons, please call us on 0800 804 8496 (Monday to Friday 9am – 8pm, Saturday to Sunday 10am – 5pm) and let the advisor know that you require an urgent will. If you are unable to call, please complete the online form and advise your will writing partner as soon as possible.
Please note, we are unable to provide urgent wills within 1 week. If the Free Will Service is not suitable, we recommend getting in touch with a local solicitor through the Law Society website; England & WalesScotlandNorthern Ireland
