Our work with community partners

Real change in cancer care starts with those who know the challenges they face the best – communities themselves.

Why are community organisations so important?

Cancer is one of the biggest challenges many people will ever face, and for some, it’s made even harder by who they are, where they live, what they earn or how they communicate. It shouldn’t be that way. That’s why we’re partnering with community-led organisations across the UK to reduce variation, tackle inequity and help change a system that does not work for everyone.

Communities understand their own needs best and hold the knowledge and skills needed to transform cancer care. Together, we’re building a future where we share funding, develop skills and learn from one another to help fix cancer care. Cancer will never be fair, but together, we can make cancer care fairer.

If you are part of a community organisation we'd love to hear from you. Complete our survey and let us what you do and which communities you work with.
