Our partnership with Motor Fuel Group

Macmillan Cancer Support is incredibly proud to be Motor Fuel Group’s first long-term charity partner. Since our partnership began, MFG colleagues and customers have shown amazing enthusiasm and generosity, raising an incredible £2.3 million to support people living with cancer.

One of the highlights of our partnership has been bringing the energy to the London Marathon. Since 2024, MFG colleagues have joined Macmillan at our cheer point at mile six, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for runners with music, noise and plenty of encouragement. It has even been described as the best cheer point on the London Marathon route!
MFG colleagues have also thrown themselves into a range of fundraising challenges, from hikes and other physical challenges to activities that bring teams together in support of Macmillan.

Our partnership continues to grow too. Most recently, we were delighted to expand Pennies across all Morrisons petrol stations, giving customers even more opportunities to make a small donation when they pay. Those small acts of generosity can add up to an incredible difference for people living with cancer.

MFG has also delivered more than 70 care packages to people going through cancer treatment, bringing some joy and comfort at a difficult time.
From cheering on thousands of runners and taking on ambitious hikes, to hosting Coffee Morning at sites, we’re hugely grateful to everyone at MFG for the energy, commitment and heart they continue to bring to our partnership.
