Since June 2024, Hollywood Bowl have worked with Macmillan to deliver Cancer Community Meet-ups. Cancer Community Meet-ups are an opportunity to meet with other people living with cancer from the local area in a relaxed and comfortable space.

Meet-ups are operating at over 10 centres across the UK, giving people with cancer a much-needed opportunity to come together and connect over a free game of bowling.

We are regularly expanding to new centres.

Not only have the Meet-ups helped local people affected by cancer, but they’ve helped Hollywood Bowl Group team members develop confidence and connect with their customers and community on a deeper level.

Hollywood Bowl Group’s teams have thrown themselves into a variety of fundraising and volunteering activities, both in centres and at their head office in Hemel Hempstead.

From Bowl-a-thons and lucky dips to Mario Kart tournaments and Apprentice-style challenges, team members keep bringing their fun and creative energy to raising vital funds to support people living with cancer.

We are grateful to Hollywood Bowl Group for donating £15 to Macmillan every time a new team member completes their induction.
