The fantastic partnership between Macmillan Cancer Support and M&S has already raised over £19 million since 2010.

World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

We are proud to have M&S as the headline partner for our flagship fundraising event, World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for the eleventh year running. M&S works tirelessly to ensure the campaign is the very best it can be – in 2019, stores collectively raised over £2 million for Macmillan in September. 

This September, customers can pick up a selection of limited-edition home products and a range of delicious treats in M&S Foodhalls (including our bespoke Colin the Caterpillar), as well as indulge in coffee and cake in M&S Cafés, all with a donation to Macmillan.

Our partnership together

Our partnership is built on much more than coffee and cake, though. The last eleven years have seen M&S embed Macmillan into their business, with hundreds of M&S staff pledging to support Macmillan through fundraising and volunteering.

The enthusiasm, support and hard work of M&S employees and customers means we can fund Macmillan specialist healthcare professionals (from nurses and occupational therapists to psychologists and doctors) in local communities right across the UK.

With nearly three million people living with cancer in the UK today, the demand for Macmillan professionals has never been higher. This figure is set to rise to four million people living with cancer in 2030. We want to ensure that we are right there for everyone living with cancer, and that is why the continued support of partners like M&S is so vital.
