Cancer in your workplace masterclass (open session)

Expert training open to managers and HR professionals from different organisations.

  • Three hours

Free introduction to Cancer and your workplace (in-house for small businesses only)

Receive an overview of the key cancer and work issues covered in our masterclass. 

  • 60 minutes - only for businesses with under 250 employees
  • Limited to one free session per organisation
  • No charge for participants, but donations welcome
  • Up to 15 participants per masterclass

We have specifically designed our introductory session for HR professionals and line managers from smaller businesses (under 250 employees).

Led by an experienced Macmillan at Work volunteer trainer, it provides an excellent overview of the support employees affected by cancer typically need and your legal obligations as an employer. 

Macmillan provides this session to you without any charge. However, if you do book a place on it, we would greatly appreciate a donation to support our vital work.

Bespoke sessions

We’ve specifically designed our Train the trainer masterclass to provide your organisation with the skills and resources it needs to establish a sustainable cancer and work training model for your large workforce.

It involves one of our experts providing comprehensive face-to-face training to your internal trainers so they can deliver bespoke cancer and work training and support to your line managers and HR professionals.
