Macmillan Professionals Conference 2019

Highlights from this year's conference, exclusively for Macmillan professionals.

About this year's conference

Our flagship multi-disciplinary conference was a huge success this year, bringing together over 400 Macmillan Professionals from across the UK.

Our 2019 programme focused on the theme of person-centred care – ‘It starts with you.’ Every day starts with you delivering great, person-centred care to people living with cancer.

Whether or not you were able to attend this year’s conference, Macmillan is here to provide you with the support you need in your role.

A highlight of the event is the Macmillan Professionals Excellence Awards Ceremony. As always, it was a wonderful evening of celebration, where attendees heard about best practice examples and celebrated the work of our prestigious award winners.

It renews my commitment to the role and gives me a boost to be part of such a positive and appreciated workforce.
