Information and support centres

The Macmillan Information and Support Centre is based in the NGS Macmillan Unit at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and anyone affected by cancer can drop into the centre to meet the staff and volunteers who will help you find the information and support you need. All our services are free and include: Look Good Feel Better; Complementary therapies; Headstrong; Welfare and benefits service; Moving Forward after breast cancer courses and Moving On after cancer treatment courses to help when treatment has finished; Art therapy sessions; Radiotherapy information afternoons and a Psychology support service . We have a service for parents or main carer diagnosed with advanced cancer to help them talk with and prepare their children for the future. To book any of the services provided either phone the centre or call into the centre. Wig Fitting service provided by Trendco. To book phone the Trendco office on 0115 947 5316 who will arrange an appointment in the Macmillan centre.
