HYROX Cardiff 2025

HYROX is taking the fitness world by storm, and we’re excited to be their exclusive charity partner! HYROX is a fitness race for every body, no matter your fitness level.

The race starts with a 1 km run, followed by 1 functional movement. This whole circuit repeats 8 times, taking place in large indoor venues, creating a unique stadium like atmosphere for all participants.

Functional movements include:

1. 1000m SkiErg
2. 50m Sled push
3. 50m Sled pull
4. 80m Burpee broad jumps
5. 1000m Rowing
6. 200m Farmers carry
7. 100m Sandbag lunges
8. 100 x Wall balls.

Please make sure you have read our Terms and Conditions before signing up. You must be 16 years of age or over on the day of the event in order to take part.

Rob took on HYROX in 2023 for his sister-in-law Dawn, who sadly passed away later that year from melanoma.

"She is my main motivation. She is what is going to get me to the end… Come hell or high water, I’m getting to the end somehow. I’ll get through those hundred wall balls at the end, because of her, because I’m doing it for her.

"If you can run 5K, or you can run/walk 5k, then you can do a HYROX. It’s not all about super elite athletes, it is an event for everyday athletes. If you’re going to the gym and you’re exercising on a regular basis, then definitely HYROX is something you can achieve with a bit of work."
