About the event
Cycling from London to Paris is one of Europe’s most iconic rides. You'll pass through the scenic Kent countryside, cross the Channel, and cycle on through charming villages and historic market towns in Northern France. With long days in the saddle and a few tough hill climbs, reaching the Eiffel Tower is a truly rewarding moment.
You'll also have time on the final day to take in the sights and soak up the atmosphere of this stunning city.
This is an Open Challenge, so not all participants will be fundraising for Macmillan - some may be supporting other great causes.

Nishad’s story
Nishad took part in the London to Paris challenge in 2024 after his own experience of cancer within his family.
"I rode in memory of my paternal grandmother who died of breast cancer just shy of her 45th birthday. Growing up, her story loomed large in our family. Cancer has affected my family for decades, claiming lives and leaving a lasting impact. Alongside my father's experience of cancer, which he overcame, thanks to advances in cancer research and support we received, I was motivated to sign up and take on the challenge.
"This challenge was personal for me, as I'm sure it is for many others. I gave my all, putting in the hours come rain, snow or shine."
Event Accessibility
This is designed to be a challenge, and it is vital that you train sufficiently for it. Inadequate training is likely to have an impact not just on your chances of completing the challenge, but enjoying it too - and we want you to have the time of your life! Our challenges attract people of all levels of experience, fitness and ability as well as all ages and backgrounds. We design our challenges so that everyone can go at their own pace: this is not a race.
Your safety, and that of the rest of the group, is our highest priority. Your crew will be equipped with communication devices (eg phones, radios and/or emergency satellite phones), medical kit and other safety apparatus appropriate to the destination. Our leaders always have access to our 24-hour emergency UK back-up. They are responsible for safety on the trip, and will make any changes to the itinerary they deem necessary, should local conditions dictate. Pre-trip administration - such as medical questionnaires and travel insurance as appropriate - is all done with your safety in mind.
Please contact the event organisers Discover Adventure directly at for any specific accessibility questions.
