Our corporate partners
Macmillan works in partnership with private sector organisations in communities across the UK to deliver outstanding mutually beneficial partnerships.
Our Corporate Partners
Whether you are holding an in-store fundraising event, supporting the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning or simply selling our fundraising merchandise, every penny will help Macmillan support more people affected by cancer.
If you are looking to increase sales, drive market share or benefit from the brand halo effect of the UK’s most trusted brand, we are the experts in working alongside you to develop mutually beneficial partnerships. We support from conception through to delivery and help to design nationally recognised campaigns and our team are on hand to work alongside you every step of the way.
We pride ourselves on our corporate volunteering offer. In 2013 Macmillan’s innovative approach saw volunteer engagement more than double – with more partners than ever before working with us to find the right opportunities. We have a new corporate volunteering strategy in place which will allow us to continue to grow these numbers from 2014 onwards. The Corporate Volunteering Team is committed to creating tailor made opportunities that work for Macmillan, your organisation and your employees. From providing one to one support to people affected by cancer, to supporting our amazing runners on at events. Together we can inspire your employees to join the Macmillan team as volunteers, giving their time, skills, energy and experience to ensure no one faces cancer alone.
Macmillan is a national charity with a range of local volunteering opportunities.
Our team will review the organisational goals and skills of your staff, to identify possible bespoke opportunities for your employees.
We will provide event case studies, role descriptions and volunteer insight for you to use in your internal and CSR publications.
Macmillan is likely to resonate with your colleagues – leading to an increase in your company’s engagement figures.
As a team, it was a great opportunity to give something back to the community and we had a very positive and rewarding experience. We went just hoping to do something positive for others, but we came back also having grown stronger as a team.
Events and sponsorship
Macmillan has created and owns some of the UK's most popular and loved mass engagement events which present a unique opportunity to access audiences, align your brand, promote products and build brand loyalty through sponsorship or product alignment.
For example, Natwest are sponsoring Macmillan's Tree of Light for 2014.
We also produce some of the most impactful publications for people affected by cancer, which represent opportunities to showcase how your brand works to support people affected by cancer.
Cause-related marketing and joint promotions

Linking a brand or product to Macmillan can help increase sales, build customer loyalty or retain or recruit members. We can work together to ensure that any venture is innovative, exciting and produces mutually beneficial results.
As a Macmillan corporate partner you can help deliver change by bringing new services to local communities, for example funding a new post or implementing a new initiative that helps people affected by cancer in their everyday lives.
You can also open up supplier networks and encourage staff and customer engagement, such as extra advice, training or support.
The value in terms of reinforcement of your brand and company values is enormous. We would be delighted to discuss creating a bespoke partnership with you which meets joint, strategic goals.
Payroll Giving is a simple, tax-effective way for an employee to give to Macmillan directly from their paycheque.
Setting up and running a scheme is quick and easy, and successful schemes are recognised in the coveted Payroll Giving Quality Mark Awards.
If you’re thinking of introducing Payroll Giving for your organisation then please email our team at email@example.com or call us on 0207 840 4842. For more information or to sign up to give yourself please visit our Payroll Giving page.
