Tour de 4
Registration fee: £30 to £65 depending on route
Fundraising pledge: £200
About the event
Following Sir Chris Hoy's diagnosis with Stage 4 cancer, Tour De 4 was established with a clear purpose: to demonstrate that a Stage 4 diagnosis, while devastating, doesn't define the limits of what's possible.
Chris' vision is to bring together people who have been affected by cancer - whether directly or indirectly - to challenge perceptions, inspire hope and raise vital funds for cancer charities across the UK.
Starting and finishing at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow, there are 4 incredible routes on offer for all abilities.
The Red Ride (56 miles) is for seasoned riders who love a challenge. The Blue Ride (37 miles) is perfect for casual cyclists or beginners looking for a challenge. The Green Ride (1km) is a family route around the grounds of the velodrome. The Yellow Ride aims to give those who have been affected by cancer, particularly stage 4, the opportunity to participate with 1-20 minutes on a static bike.

Event accessibility
Accessibility is a key focus of the Tour de 4 event. Routes range from 1 minute on a static bike, to a 1km family ride, to a 37-56 mile open road cycle.
The static bike option (1-20 minutes) aims to give those who have been affected by cancer, particularly stage 4, the opportunity to participate.
