About the event
If you're an amateur rider who is younger or newer to cycling, the Ford RideLondon-Essex 60 could be the event for you! This unique 60-mile cycle sees participants pedal past impressive London landmarks and through picturesque rural Essex – all on traffic-free roads.
The route
The Ford RideLondon-Essex 60 event is a unique opportunity to ride 60 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex.
Starting in the centre of the capital, you’ll then roll through the beautiful Essex countryside and its quaint villages, before ending with an iconic finish at Tower Bridge. Details of the full route are set to be announced late-2024.

Event Accessibility
Macmillan welcomes all disabled riders who may want to join Macmillan at RideLondon 2025. If further assistance is required, please email paraathletes@londonmarathonevents.co.uk who can provide additional support on the day such as parking and transferring a day chair.
