What is a Macmillan Buddy?
Macmillan Buddies is a free support service for people living with cancer. Our amazing volunteer buddies are trained to listen and offer support. They offer a confidential, safe space for you to talk.
- 8 to 12 weekly telephone or video calls with the same person.
- Talk about how you’re feeling or simply chat.
- Learn about other Macmillan services.
You can request a Buddy for yourself or on behalf of someone else living with cancer.
How Macmillan Buddies can help
We know that going through cancer can sometimes be an isolating experience. With our Macmillan Buddies service you can have weekly phone or video calls from a trained volunteer who understands what you're experiencing.
