Our partnership with PizzaExpress

PizzaExpress and Macmillan Cancer Support are working together to raise vital funds to make sure no one faces cancer alone. PizzaExpress has pledged to raise £2 million over four years to help support people affected by cancer.

PizzaExpress will donate 25p to Macmillan from every Padana pizza sold in restaurants. This pizza is a favourite with customers and Macmillan alike, topped with goat’s cheese, mozzarella, tomato, caramelised onions, spinach, red onions and garlic oil. The donation will apply to all versions of the pizza in PizzaExpress restaurants throughout the UK. So far, over £55,0001 has been raised through Padana pizza sales, helping Macmillan to provide vital financial, emotional, practical and medical support for people affected by cancer.

As part of the partnership, PizzaExpress restaurants will host a series of events helping to provide a comfortable and familiar place for people affected by cancer to come together and share their experiences.

PizzaExpress employees voted to support Macmillan and have already begun fundraising in restaurants. Please pop in to your local restaurant where you will find a special pizza-shaped coin collector and staff who will be able to chat to you more about the partnership.

With over two million people living with cancer in the UK today, the demand for Macmillan professionals has never been higher, which is why the continued support of partnerships such as PizzaExpress is so important.

1£55,909.50 raised in the period from 22 March 2016 to 1 May 2016 through 25p Padana donations in PizzaExpress restaurants nationwide.
