About The Event
The Battle Cancer is a strength and fitness event for teams of four where fitness meets fundraising. Choose from the signature 90-minute Battle Cancer Challenge or test your endurance with the new for 2025 Battle Run or showcase your strength in Battle Lift.
The challenge is the same across all host cities from Miami to London to Dubai, with comparable global leaderboards so the crown winning teams can claim they are the fittest fundraisers in the world.
There’ll also be a live DJ, dance floor, fancy dress, homemade signs, cheering staff and face glitter make for an exhilarating day of fitness and fundraising celebration!
The Challenges
1) Battle Cancer Challenge
In this 90-minute challenge you will progress through 9 high-energy stations—bike, row, run, and lift—pushing for max reps in 5-minute bursts with 4 minutes to recover before hitting the next station.
Each event location is unique with different combinations of movements, which are released just before the event. You will take on 9 of the following 12 stations:
- Shuttle Run/Air Runner
- Row
- Bike
- Ski erg
- Dumbbell snatch
- Deadlift
- Sandbag squats
- Sandbag over the shoulder
- Burpee
- Sled push/pull
- Movement descriptions
- American kettlebell swing
- Box step up
2) Battle Run
New for 2025! Tackling Battle Run you will take on a 15km relay race as a team. Each city’s run loop varies based on our venue. In Scotland, Battle Runners will tackle an outdoor route right beside SEC.
Each runner will wear a chip timer, which tracks your distance and time. You can divide the distance however you choose within your team, but each runner must complete a full loop before passing the timer to the next teammate.
Every £1 your team donates or fundraises = 1 point. Your score = Your time + fundraising points.
3) Battle Lift
Also new for 2025! The Battle Cancer Lift Challenge is all about strength, grit, and giving back. This unique team event sees you and your squad take on a high-energy lifting circuit designed to push your limits and raise vital funds for cancer charities.
You’ll work together to complete a series of barbell-based movements within 60 minutes, aiming to lift as much cumulative weight as possible. Each team member contributes to the total, and your strategy is key — divide the lifts however works best for your crew, but teamwork is everything.
Every £1 your team donates or fundraises = another kg to your total.
Will your team top the London leaderboard by combining power with purpose?
