Our partnership with Santander
We are delighted to partner with Santander. Find out more about how our partnership will help.
About our partnership
With over 14 million customers and 450 branches, Santander is one of the UK's leading financial providers and we’re proud to be in partnership from 2022, for three years in total.
A cancer diagnosis can be a huge financial burden for many, with people facing an array of extra, and often unexpected, costs. On top of this, the increasing cost of living is adding additional stress and worry to the lives of many people living with cancer across the UK. Throughout the partnership, Macmillan will guide and advise Santander to help the bank support customers, colleagues and members of the community affected by cancer, by offering the best banking experience and financial support they need.
Mike Regnier, CEO of Santander UK, said: 'At Santander we’re committed to helping our customers at the moments that matter. Working alongside charity partners has brought vital outside perspectives to how we think and operate so we’re delighted to be working with Macmillan over the next three years to help transform financial support for people affected by cancer and make money one less worry.'
Over the next three years, through a variety of customer and colleague fundraisers, Santander is hoping to raise over£1million. This will help Macmillan continue to do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer.
Financial help
Our money advisers can help people living with cancer figure out the benefits system, discuss general money worries, and highlight other useful organisations. We also have information about applying for a Macmillan Grant. Our benefits calculator can help people find out which benefits they may be entitled to.
