The 26th annual House of Lords vs House of Commons Tug of War will take place on Tuesday 11 June 2013 at the Westminster College Gardens. The rope is primed, the teams are in training and the champagne is ready to pop. Join us for this wonderfully unique event.
This truly unique event is now in its 26th year, with guests playing witness to Lords and MPs battling it out over a Tug of War rope to claim the House of Parliament Tug Champions title for the year.
Deputy Political Editor for the BBC James Lansdale is confirmed to host this must see event. He'll be overseeing each of the 8 tug matches including the Services, Womens, Sponsors, Corporate Partners, Media, and culminating with the House of Lords vs House of Commons match.
The thrilling matches create an electric atmosphere as guests enjoy the garden party with champagne and canapés, followed by a delicious standing supper.
