Ingredients
500ml milk or plant-based alternative
2 tsp sugar (optional)
60ml caramel syrup (and more for garnishing)
120ml of espresso or strongly brewed fresh coffee
Whipped (squirty) cream
How to prepare
- Combine preferred milk, sugar and caramel syrup in a medium-sized saucepan and heat on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, or until it bubbles. Stir the mixture frequently while heating.
- Once the mixture starts to bubble, remove the pan from the heat and froth it immediately. You can use an immersion blender or milk frother to do this.
- Divide and pour the foamy mixture into two Coffee Mugs. You can order Coffee Morning branded ones from our shop. You may need to scoop the foam mixture using a spoon if it's not pouring on its own.
- Pour equal amount of the hot espresso or coffee between the mugs and give the coffee a gentle stir.
- Check the sweetness level and add more sugar if desired.
- Top with whipped cream and more caramel syrup to serve (both optional).
