About special projects

We have a proud history of achievements that have changed the face of cancer care in the UK over the last 100 years.

Macmillan has led the way in helping people living with cancer and their loved ones. We were the first to introduce specialist cancer nurses, and the first to help with the financial impact of cancer. We have also been creating healing cancer environments with the NHS and other partners since 1976, and we're experts at what we do.

We are at the forefront of understanding the needs of people living with cancer and this is at the heart of everything we do. We inform new service developments and strategic programmes that will have impact for years to come.

Our work is constantly evolving, so contact a member of our team to find out more about our latest developments and how you could get involved.

This capital build will help to ensure that cancer care, treatment, information and support services in Bath and North East Somerset are fit for the future and equipped to effectively meet ever-growing demand. Arranged over three floors, the new centre is designed to be a calming space where people can get the all-round support they need.

We are seeking individuals who are able to transform the lives of people living in Somerset with an exceptional donation to this work. We would be pleased to explore opportunities for public recognition.
