Trusts and foundations

Make a difference to people living with cancer by giving to Macmillan via a charitable trust or foundation.

Giving via a trust or foundation

Trusts and foundations play an important role in funding Macmillan's work.

Charitable trusts or foundations are often chosen by individuals or groups as a way to give a portion of their income or assets to charities, in a sustainable and measured way. Trusts and foundations are registered charities and legal organisations, and funds may be donated regularly or on occasion.

If you are a trustee, are connected to a trust, or are thinking of setting up a trust, we would love to hear from you. By extending your philanthropic support to Macmillan, we work closely with you so that you can see the difference you've made.

How we can work together

We know that making a donation can be a hugely personal decision, and we want to make sure your experience of working with Macmillan fits your expectations. We work closely with every trust and foundation to make sure that they are able to engage with our work in the way that suits them best.

Each of our trusts and foundations have a dedicated member of the Philanthropy Team to be your point of contact and provide you with:

  • regular updates on the impact of your giving
  • opportunities to engage further with our teams and services
  • exclusive invitations to information-led events and priority access to our fundraising events.
