The Motability Scheme helps people receiving certain benefits to buy or hire a car, scooter or powered wheelchair.
If you receive the higher rate of the mobility component of Disability Living Allowance|, the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment, or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement, you may be able to get help through the scheme.
