You may be entitled to a free tax disc if you’re disabled.
This is available to people who receive the higher rate of the mobility component of Disability Living Allowance|, the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment, the War Pensioners Mobility Supplement or Armed Forces Independence Payment.
If you receive the standard rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment, you may qualify for a 50% discount on the cost of your tax disc.
