Local support for people living with and beyond cancer.

The Macmillan 1:1 Support Service is provided by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. We support people affected by cancer in a primary care setting. We are a team of Health Professionals offering individualised, holistic support & promoting supported self management for the health & well-being of all adults affected by cancer; including family & friends of those diagnosed. Support is offered from diagnosis, through treatment & beyond, where the prognosis is 12 months or more. We will offer an holistic assessment & care plan, followed by bespoke support packages based on patients individual needs. We provide emotional & psychological support, practical support & advice around symptom management. We work closely with other services & signpost or refer on where appropriate.

Our service is available for adults living in the Oldham area with an Oldham GP.

  • Opening times:

    Monday to Friday 9 – 5, excluding bank holidays. 24 hour answer phone with returned call the next working day.
