Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service at Milton Keynes

Information and support centres

Our Macmillan Information Support Centre is staffed by experienced nursing staff and trained volunteers. We offer free, confidential support and advice, whether you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, or you’re a family member or carer supporting someone with a cancer diagnosis. Some of our volunteers have personal experiences of living with cancer. We offer nurse-led one-to-one emotional support to anyone affected by cancer. Within the Information Centre we work alongside a Complementary Therapist and a Citizen’s Advice caseworker and we can refer you to these services. We can also refer you to other professional and voluntary organisations locally including Willen Hospice / Willen Wellbeing Centre, the Macmillan ‘Hope Course’, Look Good Feel Better, a local singing club ‘Beyond the C’, Age UK Milton Keynes, Carers MK, Relate MK or Arts on Prescription. If you would like further information about these services and what they have to offer please contact us.
