COVID 19: THE SUPPORT CENTRE IS PROVIDING A TELEPHONE SERVICE ONLY BETWEEN 9AM AND 4PM. We provide free and confidential support and information for anyone affected by Cancer. Our friendly staff and trained volunteers will listen to your worries and concerns and guide you through the range of information and support available. We are here to help you find your best way through – whether you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, or you’re a family member, carer or friend. Our aim is to help you live well at all stages of the cancer journey. We are able to provide the following : free leaflets, booklets and resources on all aspects of living with and beyond cancer; access to benefits advice and other sources of financial help; an opportunity to discuss work related issues such as finding the words to speak to your employer, understanding your rights at work and what reasonable adjustments may enable you to remain in or return to work; access to practical help such as transport, help at home and travel insurance; access to support programmes to help you cope with the effects of cancer both during and after treatment e.g group exercise programme, Cancer Related Fatigue management workshops. This is a Belfast Health and Social Care Trust service in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland, Friends of the Cancer Centre and Look Good Feel Better.
