Expert benefit advice and general advice re debt , housing , work issues , help with costs and heating etc. for anyone affected by cancer. The service also assists with form filling and the Macmillan Benefit Adviser can assist with representation at appeals if required . Patients and carers are can arrange a telephone appointment or can be seen in the hospital.
Catchment area:
The service is available to anyone affected by cancer who is attending South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust. Those out of the Middlesbrough area may also be advised on benefit / support services closer to home for their convenience.
