Macmillan Free Will Service

How coronavirus may affect your free will writing service

Following government guidance regarding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic we won’t be offering will writing appointments with our will writing partners at home or in branch until it is safe to do so.

We know this may come as a disappointment, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused, but the safety of everyone is our top priority.

You can still complete your will in a variety of convenient ways, such as on the telephone, face-to-face using video appointments, online and via the post.

If you have already made a home or in branch appointment, a will writing partner will contact you directly with suggestions about how you can complete your will. There may be a delay before you are contacted because of current customer demand.

If you urgently need a will, please tell your chosen will writing partner as soon as possible.

If you are worried about the coronavirus and people living with or affected by cancer, read our latest guidance and support.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

We're offering you the chance to write your will for free.

There is no obligation to leave Macmillan a gift in your will, but we hope that after looking after your loved ones, you’ll also consider leaving a percentage to Macmillan.

Leaving a gift in your will, large or small, is one of the biggest differences you can make to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can.
