Lobes and functions of the brain - image description

The diagram shows the different areas of the cerebrum. The cerebrum is shown divided into four sections. The largest area covers the front third of the cerebrum. This is called the frontal lobe. Behind this and covering the top half of the cerebrum is an area called the parietal lobe. Behind the frontal lobe and below the parietal lobe is an area called the temporal lobe. The occipital lobe is the smallest area shown at the back of the cerebrum.
