Banana cream

  • Whipping cream (280ml/10floz)
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • Caster sugar (2 heaped tbsp)
  • Juice and grated rind of 1 lemon


  1. Whisk the cream until thick.
  2. Peel the bananas and mash with the sugar, lemon rind and juice.
  3. Add the mashed banana mixture to the cream and stir together.
  4. Chill before serving.

  • vegetarians.
